A family affair

From Domaine Les Crayères in Reims to the restaurant Le Taillevent in Paris, the Gardinier brothers perpetuate their special idea of the art of hospitality.

For almost a century, the Gardinier family has been linked with addresses iconic of French hospitality. Founded in 1927, the family group is now directed by Thierry, Stéphane and Laurent, the brothers comprising the third generation, united by the same fondness for living legacies. This fondness is most clearly expressed by Domaine Les Crayères in Reims. Nestling in the chalk quarries of Champagne, this historic residence blends architecture, landscapes and gastronomy, embodying a lifestyle deeply rooted within its territory. In Paris, Le Taillevent occupies a unique place in French history. Iconic of high gastronomy, it hands down its heritage in Les Caves de Taillevent and Les 110 de Taillevent, addresses dedicated to wine and the sharing of oenological expertise. Le Comptoir du Caviar and the Restaurant Drouant, a shrine to literature, complete this collection of venues, each one perpetuating its own culinary or cultural memory. This devotion to specific places is rooted in family history. For several generations, the Gardinier have maintained close ties with wine, gastronomy and hospitality, from Champagne to Bordeaux. Today, this heritage lives on in settings chosen for the stories they tell, motivated by a single desire: to preserve their identity and pass on through the years a special idea of the fine art of hospitality.
