Excellence, forever

While the Empress Eugénie Room presents new decor, it is in the park that the future of Domaine Les Crayères is being sketched out.

Domaine Les Crayères cultivates a unique art of living in the decoration of its rooms and suites. Bearing the name of an empress, a queen or a princess who left their mark on the History of the Old World, each one reveals the classic French style, authentic and uniquely elegant.

On the first floor of the château, the Empress Eugénie Room has been treated to a beautification. While preserving the character of its original woodwork, interior architect Pierre-Yves Rochon has imbued it with new life through a refined palette of colours harmoniously mingling powdery rose, pearl grey, gold and immaculate white. The refined decor, like a "toile de Jouy", emphasizes the elegance of the walls in a perfect equation between tradition and modernity. "Guests who stay at Domaine Les Crayères come from all four corners of the world," says Pierre-Yves Rochon. "They cherish a certain image of France and its culture. The rooms and suites owe it to themselves to reflect this typically French style." The interior architect has brilliantly combined the codes of the 19th century with those of our era to create an atmosphere basking in timeless charm for the Empress Eugénie Room. A subtle blend of classical and contemporary elements, its furnishings endow the space with total comfort. As witnessed by the four-poster bed, a real centrepiece inviting the sweetest dreams. A large window also graces the bathroom, clad in marble, bathing it generously in natural light. Though what makes this room so exceptional is undoubtedly its unimpeded view of the park. Pierre-Yves Rochon has succeeded in magnifying this advantage by redesigning the lighting and modernizing the drapes. Henceforth, daylight showcases its outdoor setting, unveiling the incredible beauty of the Domaine.

Its crowning glory, the refurbished terrace offers a unique panoramic view of this idyllic scene: classic French gardens, century-old trees and, in the background, the majestic Saint-Remi Basilica. This is where you will be able to share a moment of conviviality around a delectable glass of champagne. A refined backcloth in which classicism meets modernity for a stay steeped in history and charm.
